Driving home from a local pub tournament, my wife said to me, that, during the
game, a player raised a pot, everyone except the big blind folded, who very
quietly called, pushing his chips, to make up the difference between his blind
and the raise, over his cards, into the pot. The original raiser, who had
obviously not been paying attention, turned his cards face up, not releasing
them, just turned them over, showing AJh, and said "could you have beaten
that?", then leant forward to start to drag the chips towards himself.
BB said "hang on, i've called", the dealer stopped the raiser collecting the
chips, and declared his hand dead because he had revealed his hole cards, and
the pot pushed to the BB.
Raiser said that he thought the BB was just pushing the chips towards the pot
and was folding, and didn't see or hear the call. He graciously gave up the pot
and the game continued.
Whats the proper ruling here, was the dealer right?, or should the raiser have
contested it, as he hadn't let his cards go, they were still in front of him,
but face up? Neither player was all in at this point, it was fairly early on in
the tourney, and the raise was roughly 3x the BB
Thanks in advance,
Rick

Gift Cards and PRE-PAID Reloadable cards are the best method of
deposit for any online deposit. It has been discovered that this new
method for quick depositing is known as Immediate Deposit. Prepaid
Cards are the only way to do the Immediate Deposit. Then simply start
betting.
Another great benefit of prepaid gift cards is that you do not have to
wait for the prepaid card to activate. Almost every check cashing
store will provide you with a visa prepaid card, and all you need is
your Identification Card.
Lately many Gaming industries discontinued taking Master Card, but
here is the solution; if you don't have a Visa credit card, a pre-paid
credit card is the best way to go.

It's like these guys like Da Pickle, Fl Turbo, and Wuzzy, just cannot bring
themselves to criticize their beloved Bush and the neo-cons. It doesn't matter
what you say to them, somehow they believe if the more "liberal" people here are
the ones doing the criticizing then somehow they feel obligated to defend Bush
or attack the criticizer. What about me? I am a conservative republican. And
I am perhaps the biggest Bush-hater in all of RGP history. If I had a dollar
for everytime we've seen DaPickle or Fl Turbo or Wuzzy offer one bit of
criticism of the Bush Administration, I'd be broke. (ha! just like our
government)

WSJ ... of course, this information should be ignored. Of course.
Saddam's Terror Links
March 24, 2008
Five years on, few Iraq myths are as persistent as the notion that the Bush
Administration invented a connection between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda.
Yet a new Pentagon report suggests that Iraq's links to world-wide terror
networks, including al Qaeda, were far more extensive than previously
understood.
Naturally, it's getting little or no attention. Press accounts have been
misleading or outright distortions, while the Bush Administration seems
indifferent. Even John McCain has let the study's revelations float by. But
that doesn't make the facts any less notable or true.
The redacted version of "Saddam and Terrorism" is the most definitive public
assessment to date from the Harmony program, the trove of "exploitable"
documents, audio and video records, and computer files captured in Iraq. On
the basis of about 600,000 items, the report lays out Saddam's willingness
to use terrorism against American and other international targets, as well
as his larger state sponsorship of terror, which included harboring,
training and equipping jihadis throughout the Middle East.
