  pre-1996 hundred dollar bills

Author: Mark Pryor
Date: Dec 16, 2007 23:40

hello,

I was at Hollywood Park today for the Sunday 11:30 tourney.
I went out early, then headed for low limit Omaha hi/lo.

After my partner busted out from the tourney at 3:15, I hurried to the
window to cash my small win. I received $220 and stuffed the 3 bills into
my pocket without checking them -- maybe a mistake, maybe not.

One of the hundreds was 1981A, with no security strips. The bill looks
genuine, except for being so old. I am amazed that HP would try to
circulate bills this old.

If I take this bill to my bank, should I explain how I got it or should I
quietly try to pass it? The worst case may be that I need to take it back
to HP and complain.

Thanks for your advice,
Mark

I just downloaded my stats on pokerstars and I know why I am going broke. I am
playing too many hands. I respect you guys knowledge of poker and wondering if I
was to play that many hands again, what kind of stats would a winning player
have? Smart Asses please do not respond; I know I suck, I am terrible, what else
is the usual ignorant resposnse you see when someone is actually wanting help on
here? Here is my terrible stats.

840 hands played and saw flop:
- 79 times out of 145 while in small blind      (54%%)
- 115 times out of 147 while in big blind      (78%%)
- 209 times out of 548 in other positions      (38%%)
- a total of 403 times out of 840      (48%%)

Pots won at showdown - 69 out of 153      (45%%)
Pots won without showdown - 109

Sometime close to a holiday?

Would you like to buy a vowel?

You don't have a read, which means that by default you are behind in
this hand and you dont have a redraw. Unless you have a read otherwise.

You are in the pot for 2 dollars and this is the hand you want to go to
the mat with. Fold, stop slow playing, and move on.

I don't normally speak for others, but there's a few opinions of Ron's
that I share as well. Strength in numbers, or something.

He's not afraid of anything. Instead he wants to see that if something is
presented it's presented in a clear concise manner and contains facts
rather than the standard ridiculous anecdotes that we see day to day on
RGP.

Ron's a math professor. He's probably interested in how the OP went about
obtaining his data.

Evidently, the dealer has a little more class than you. Well,
actually, a lot more class.
