Let me see if I've got this straight: You've played there and you

Based on this post, I have a bit of information: the site uses
dishonest spammers to advertise in newsgroups.

Mike Caro, the "Mad Genius of Poker," has an article in the current

According to the Mad Genius, the worst rule in poker is that a player
cannot "tell the truth" about his hole cards. For instance, if you

this "idiot rule" prohibits you from telling your opponent "I flopped
trip Aces."

This is news to me as I wasn't aware of this rule - and I often see
this rule being violated. Mr. Caro particularly objects to this rule
as he sees the rule as going against one of the main tenets of poker -
the effort to mislead and deceive your opponent.
