I know it goes against the grain from what most pros write.
However:
When I am in a game that I feel is not that great I set a stop loss level.  In
most cases it is the amount I sat down with.
So in general if I buy in for $500 and run it up I will quit the game anytime
after a few hours if I have blown off an amount equal to my buy in I quit.

In the early 90s for a time I was swhort of cash and this worked well for me
along with a few others I shared the idea.  During that same period of time I
played in a 15-30 that was so george being stuck $2000 was no big deal.  You
really need to look at your needs and what type of game it is.

Poker is not just about the numbers.
The game also involves the mind set.
Odds are not always important during a one time event.
What you do for a living and what you do for fun has a different ranking of
importance.

Side note:
I am surprised at how few mentioned how a $2500 is huge in the game as listed.
I was also surprised by the lack of anyone asking if that was the normal
standards for that game and if it was the game I played in most of the time.

Let us now get one thing out of the way.

You also win with your aces however someone else had aces so you end up with
just a little under $6000 (oh come on you know someone else had to have the
other pair of aces)

The table decides to make you a deal.  Same cards played you all in and covered
in all the other 3 spots.

Do you take the bet?  If not why.

Say you win that hand also along with the other aces.

Once again they make the all in deal and they will continue to make you the deal
until your hand is cracked. But you have no idea how long they will be making
you the deal you just find out about it after each hand.

So how many times do you make the deal?  Why did you stop?
