  Stars FPP question

After putting in some crazy hours 5 tabling 2/4 and 3/6 I got the 132,000 for
the Samsung 40" LCD  (neither the Sony nor the 50" are available in the uk)

But after shopping around a little I think I can do a better deal locally plus
get to choose from a number of TVs so I reckon thats what I'll do. (The deals
can only get better in the Jan sales too)

Soooo.....,as ive also had a couple of knocks lately ,now to convert them to
cash

125,000 will "buy" me $1,585 (with those Reward Bonuses)

121,500 will buy me T$1,935  (9 sunday entries)
(I think Id be able to sell the $T1,935 for about $1,750 , or just keep em and
use em which is obv no help as far as cash games go but thats ok as I do play a
fair amount of tourneys too)

Am I able to buy a ticket , unregister , buy another , unegister etc or would I
have to do one each week ?  (or better still ...does buying a ticket just add
$T215 to my account?)

how to calculate the distribution, the percentage chance for a number of streaks of a certain length in a trade sample

Author: gamesburn

hi
i was reading this article about winning/losing streaks as i am a
trader.
http://pages.stern.nyu.edu/%%7Echurvich/Undergrad/Handouts4/13-Streak.pdf

there is little difference between trading and poker , both deal with
the speculative arts and use the same account analysis equations.

i wondered how would i calculate the distribution, the percentage
chance for a number of streaks of a certain length in a trade sample.
eg. 50%% chance of 6 streaks of 10 consecutive losing trades in a 1000
trade sample with a win rate of 50%% or 30%% chance of 10 streaks of 10
consecutive losing trades in a 1000 trade sample with a win rate of
50%%.

the page only deals with chance of one streak in a sample, which i
calculated below, however im interested in the distribution of streaks
in a trade sample

i calculated that in a 1000trade sample with a 50%% win rate. the chance
of at least one streak of 10 trades (either winning or losing)is 48.4%%.
the chance of at least one streak of 15 trades is about 1.5%%

A good day Friday. We went 2-1 in the nba with minn and detroit winning
the game. Memphis lost to the spread by 1 pt. So a +.98 unit day.

A full slate in the nhl...but I just dont see anything at all there. 2
plays in the nba and
5 plays in the nfl for Sunday.

Good Luck

Level Playing field. Businesses are often forced to support smoking,
because they cannot, or believe they cannot, not support smoking. There
is nobody to vote their feet with. (And people were, but nobody knew
until the ban went into affect, and the people came back, and they made
more money)

But under a level playing field of smoking not allowed, it has been
shown that business is not only not affected, but generally improved.
