I know I haven't posted in like forever, but I haven't been playing much
poker since starting up the Pokerdome. I've also been running really bad,
so there's been nothing good to talk about.
Anyway, back on April 20th, I won a tournament on a small site called
Poker4Ever. The tournament was a fantastic deal: it was a $100+9 buyin
tournament they ran weekly, and it was a satellite to a $10k St. Maarten
Caribbean package. If you do the math, they'd need 100 people to break
in, but the tournaments were averaging 35-45 people... that means a sick
overlay. Even better, the other nine people at the final table all walked
away with $150, so if you beat 75%% of the field, you break even, more or
less. I played the tournament a few weeks in a row, and I had gotten my
$150 a few times. On Thursday, April 20th, I was in a small town in Utah
with my friend's band Over It. I ended up playing this tournament in
their backstage dressing room, and a few hours later, I won!

If you were me? If you was me what? I was saying that if I was Beldin I
would be embarrassed and hide. What are you saying? That if you was me
when I was Beldin, you'd hide too? What if Beldin was you, when you was me
as I was Beldin?
I'm trying to remember what Ramashiva used to call him. Was it something
like Bel-dingbat or something like that? rotflmao. Good one, Ramashiva!
That Ramashiva can crack me up some times. He has a super sense of humor,
with precision timing. He's a master.

I dont have enough information. How big was your stack, how much was
the initial raise, what were the remaining stacks at the table, what
was your feel for the other players, your place in the tourney... gosh
there have to be a dozen factors I would have to take into
consideration. These and more are some of the things I look at in a
Tourney. I play differently during rebuy periods than I do after the
rebuy, and I play differently near the bubble and at the final table
when Im already in the money... the list goes on and on.
Sorry, I can't answer your question about AQ suited.
best, Alan

No wonder Ramashiva bitch-slapped you with one hand tied behind his back.
Who the fuck are you responding to? Me, or Igotskillz? Know how to use a
fucking newsreader, einsteinium? And I'm no neo-con, Junior. Run along
and play. Let us grown-ups discuss these grown-up issues.

can't remember which buy -in tournament it was,a guy named brandon
cantu and another named stan ly in the hand
preflop cantu has a pair of eights,ly has ace queen, can't remember but
don't think it was suited, think cantu had more chips.flop comes
ace,five,ten rainbow.
ly raises 300,000,cantu either raises 800,000 or makes it 800,000 can't
remember,only three left in tournament i think,maybe four.ly folds.
is this the right play,he's got top pair,is he thinking this guy has a
set,i thought he should have went all in,it seemed to me he got run off
the hand, don't know if he was playing to maybe insure himself another
spot up in the money and maintain status quo chip count wise, seemed
like a weak play.

No, it's the archconservative whackjobs that are the problem.
Killing a pregnant woman didn't BECOME a double homicide until the whole
abortion debate.
