Umm? Did you actually look anywhere?
Just by putting
gator pits
in the search line, I came up with this:
http://www.gatorpit.net/
Amazing how that works, isn't it?
As far as I know, that's the only company that makes Gator Pits. They even
have a forum where you can ask questions.

You might give your location or an idea of where you would be willing
to travel to get one.

Maybe, but most people that make and sell barbecue are the ones that look to
buy pits to make it in. There is a difference between legitimate self
promotion and spam

So I went back and took a look at his web site. Seems to me he is one
of those BBQ contest trolls; the ones that have no chance at the Memphis
in May, so they go around to all the little BBQ contests around the
country like the Rib America Festival in St. Louis. They do their BBQs
up and sell samples through the festival and then there is the judging
at the end. They have all kinds of awards for contest that no one
outside the immediate areas have heard of. They all have big smoker
trailers, some custom fancied up, most simple and charcoal black.

I can't say no to your question, but I have seen enough of the sorts of
people who compete at these things to have formulated my speculation as
a possibility.
