I have been having a frustrating intermittent problem with one of the
cook top burners. The electric pilot light does not always click to
light. Sometime it does not click at all. Sometimes it clicks only once
(which does not always light). Sometimes it works fine - repeatedly
clicking until the gas ignites. The gas is coming out fine. All other
three burners work fine.

Once I do get it to light once it will repeatedly light for some time.
Sometimes its fine for weeks. Sometimes it stops working a few hours
after it worked fine. One way to get it to light is to light "another"
burner and let it go for awhile. Then the pilot on the broken one seems
to start working.

Jenn-air will not give me advice, and I need pay for a technician to
come out even though I'm not sure I will be able to demonstrate the
problem when he gets there.

Any advice?
