You bet it is, and it is a little different from village to village.

The majority of those folks down here are die-hard tea addicts to a
degree I have yet to see anywhere else on this planet.
Assam based blends, up to 1/2 oz tea/12 oz water, long steeps, tiny
cups, truckloads of "Kluntje" (rock sugar) and a few slowly added
dollops of heavy cream. One iron rule: WHATEVER HAPPENS - DON´T STIR
:), the spoon serves as a means to communicate: need more, heart attack
pending, hey look-rain moving in, ...

I´m partial to it myself, in particular the pretty rough redneck slang
in combination with a moody melody. Sometimes though it even reminds me
of that sort of Cantonese spoken or rather sung by Tony Leung in some
of Wong Kar-Wai´s movies.
