Republic of Tea

I have just recently had a cup of the Republic of Tea's tung ting oolong,
and it wasn't half bad. It certainly was in the same league as the middle
grade tung ting from Ten Ren. Anybody else tried this stuff? How much
does it cost in the real world?

Most of what I have seen from Republic of Tea are goofy flavoured things
and tisane blends, so I was pleasantly surprised by the tung ting.

While intrepidly exploring the bowels of USENET on Saturday, August

The tung ting I used to get from the shop that used to be local was
around $20 for 3 oz.

Republic of Tea is a "stop gap" brand for us for teas. If I don't pay
attention and we run out of "good stuff," RoT fills in adequately
until I correct my error. This happens more often than I might like.

Their rooibos can be quite tasty, however.

Arrgh, I had a nice response all typed up and then my computer crashed
so this reply won't be as elaborate. I actually enjoy RoT over just
about any teabag tea out there. I choose my bookstores by whether or
not they serve RoT and that's why I like specific Borders stores to
B&N. I am totally not ashamed to say I enjoy a number of their teas,
they can be quite good. The Borders by me actually serves their loose
tea in single use tea pouches when you order.
