Its like fitting a round peg in a square hole when finding infusers
for pots that dont have one. The rigid ones usually dont fit the
mouth, at best almost if youre lucky. Forget about the lid in these
cases. The TeeLi company also makes a tea sock in small, medium,
large which is held in place by the normal lid seal. The sock is
disposable so you dont have to do anything special with the leaf. My
local tea shoppe taught me that. The tea ball is the next best option
because the chain can be held in place by the lid but will eventually
chip hard surfaces like clay and porcelain.

PS If you have to twist the lid, the sock lip might tear. I bought
some expensive Chinese teas in 25g bags and I expect that to last
forever or until I forget how much I paid. I still drink my penny/
gram teas.
