GoalTV on Dish Network has been down for a couple of days with some
message in Spanish on the guide saying there is a problem and theyre
trying to fix it. Fox Soccer Espanol is being shown in its place. I
just saw a commerical with a babe in a bikini holding a box of organic
puerh teabags claiming it keeps her slim. Llama ya.

Hey a fellow football fan as well. I've been too busy trying to fit in
all the Olympics to stray to any other sporting events. The soccer has
been pretty decent so far from what I've seen. BTW, how were you
getting Olympics on CCTV outside of China... my CCTV has just been
news and occasionally a highlight or two. FWIW I had a waiter the
other day that was really into Puerh and had a great conversation in
an Italian restaurant. Apparently it is becoming mainstream and
keeping the Spaniard's chicas slim and trim. Who knew?

I like keeping up with the international premier leagues. I can
always watch a game on some satellite channel. I've started to watch
rugby. A local municipality built a rugby only stadium which has
turned out to be quite the jewel.

PS Only CCTV for the mainland broadcasts the games. Have you seen
that new building theyre constructing? It looks like a leggo
pretzel. I forgot what they called it. One of my favorite cooking
shows the Chinese guy on CCTV Espanol speaking Spanish.
