  Toaster Oven Recommendations

Author: Brian Mailman
Date: Sep 4, 2008 12:41

I was baking some potatoes in the toaster oven, and I guess a draft came
through or something--anyway, the glass door shattered. I could go to
Walgreen's or Rite-Aid and get a cheapie, but....

I've been wanting a different one for some time anyway--what with the
microwave broken and never replaced and the oven in my 1927 solid cast
iron Spark only big enough for a 12-pound turkey and nothing else.
Means any kind of quantity cooking needs to be juggled, what with
this-going-in-now and that-going-in-later and
those-then-going-in-to-reheat followed by these-ditto.

Anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for something big enough
to say, roast a chicken or fit a 9"x13" baking dish (with "ears"). I'm
not sure about a combo thingum, like with convection/toaster oven or
convection/micro/toaster.

B/
