A little while ago I de-lurked to ask what experience there was out there
with ops for sciatica relief. Thanks to all who replied.
I had a "Lumbar micro-disk-ectomy" 10am wednesday (11 June) and am back home
now midday Friday13th June SITTING PAIN FREE (after 6 months) reading my
emails.

So glad you are pain-free. So take it easy and give your body time to
recover while you check the computer, watch TV, and read a couple of books!

Fantastic! Happy to hear your great result, Karen.

Good for you, Karen! Do be sure you do not rush the recovery time. Relax and
have another bit of chocolate!

Oh, great news but better to do some happy "toe tapping" and save the happy
"dancing" for a while. Give your body time to heal. So glad to hear you're
pain free.

great news, that all happened very fast - funnily enough, after you
posted there was a program on radio 4 about sciatica and
microdiskectomy, seems like it is a pretty low risk, short recovery
procedure that for people with leg problems coming from the disk is a
really good thing to do and not to hang about, just do it, so I'm glad
you got it so fast and that you are doing well.

Cheers

Please do keep us posted on your recovery. (I've had sciatic problems for
some time now, and will be seeing a specialist in July)... I may need to
"pump" you for more info
