That is why the OP was complaining.

He had the Ebay IM to notify him of higher bids.
There were no messages from Ebay, which seems to indicate that there were no
higher bids than his.

THAT IS WHAT THE OP IS COMPLAINING ABOUT, DUMMY!!

There is no way that in last few seconds, from a high bid of $333, that the
seller can legally sell for $610, as detailed.
