Zogby and Rasmussen (the pollsters) will soon be announcing that Obama got
no bounce from the lackluster Dem convention while McCain has already gotten
a five to seven point bounce for choosing Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska and
another five point bounce will be announced after the completion of the
Republican convention.
Unless Obama goes into the November general elections with at least a ten
point lead in the polls he's toast because of the Wilder factor alone.

Make book on it and get rich. With McCain choosing a female conservative
governor as his running mate, nail the Obama coffin lid shut. He's out of
here already.
And good riddance. He's a Marxist.

By end 2009 Canadian all recreational boaters will be required to
possess suitable qualifications.
Been touch with rep. of the Power and Sail Squad. and one of the
claims made is that their course, unlike some of the more
straightforward 'Boating Safety' courses, is the only one that
qualifies for operating a boat in both Canada and USA. While that is
unlikely in short term it could be a significant advantage.
They also have a 12 week one evening per week course which is more
comprehensive which includes the the above qualification.
Any advice regarding this would be most appreciated. It is many years
since did any actual sailing.

Boot it and the .kml file it pushes to you should boot your Google Earth 4
or higher.
A thunderstorm is approaching from across the Ashley River headed right for
my little plot and I'm tracking it on Google Earth in REALTIME!
What a great time to be alive we live in....if the web companies and
spammers don't trash our internet, completely.

Dear Colleague,
Subject: Free NOAA Electronic Navigation Charts work with
dKart Navigator
NOAA has released more than 650 electronic charts for use on
computer marine navigation systems. The charts can be downloaded from
the Internet, and they are offered at no charge. The new NOAA
charts cover the major ocean and inland waterways of the United
States.
The NOAA Electronic Navigation Charts employ the modern S-57 vector
format and they are fully compatible with the dKart Navigator marine
navigation software. The charts and dKart Navigator are suitable for
vessels of all sizes that use US waterways.
We invite you to visit our Web site to access and download the new
NOAA charts and to learn more about dKart Navigator:

Hiya, y'all,
Having had no response to those wanting me to keep a minimum of US
warship separation, I wonder if there are Mystic, CT dwellers here.
We think we'll be in Mystic toward the end of the week or more likely
the weekend/Monday-ish. We'll keep the required distance from any
giving us notice, but would enjoy visitors from the less squeamish
:{))
From our many charts (Bob!) - paper and electronic - we can't see how
we can anchor in the area of the downtown/museum area (or, for that
matter, exactly where it is, though I believe both are near the swing
bridge.
We'd also like to get to WalMart, and see there are a couple in the
area, and wonder (assuming we can solve the above), what the best
public transport might be to achieve that, if any.
Just because I don't always have forum/newsgroup access, please drop
me a note cc'g any response you may have; skipgundlach - gmail dot
com...
TIA
