OK, chemist,
Let's assume heptane is a rubber solvent, seems to work for the glue.
What will it do for the inner tube?
Vulcanizing compounds must be engineered for the application, right?
Rubber cement is tailored for paper, where evaporation is enhanced by
the paper.
That isopropynol and heptane must propogate through the tube and patch
rubber instead of paper.
NOT with anyones LIFE on the line.
Twitch, tubes are repairable, people do it all the time all over the
world.
Just follow the directions to the letter.
Such as " hold the pieces of paper together 1 minute."
