I hope the Senator fully recovers from this event. And I hope he
becomes a fervent supporter of small municipal and community
airports nationwide, in light of how important Barnstable Airport
has proven to be for him!

It will also vary by speed, configuration, coordination, inherent
stability, etc. All turns in a terminal area on the 767 are done at 30
degrees and they tend to hold a bank pretty good unless the spoilers
are extended. In cruise one would try to use less bank and it will be
less pronounced. In a 182 pilots tend to use standard rate turns and
the need for oposite aileron changes with bank angle. I am not to
familiar with MSFS, is there any way to change the stability
settings?
