I used to fly US Air between Cleveland and Ottawa (with a change in
Pittsburgh) fairly regularly, and I swear it was US Air's policy to put
guys in the exit rows who were so fat they were panting from the effort of
walking half way down the length of the plane. If you're a Monty Python
fan, think "Mr. Creosote". I'd spent the whole flight wondering how you'd
tunnel through one of these lard mountains if you needed to get out that
exit door, because they sure as hell couldn't get through them even if
they survived the effort of opening the door.

Precisely...it went something like this. Margy who was in the
right seat said something like:

M: You're airplane, you're going to laugh at me, but I have to
use one of those zip-loc bags.
R: Nope, cause after you're done you're going to empty this
water bottle out the window so I can use it.

The company that I was flying with decided after the last round of
regulation changes to get out of the business. However, there was
a new company at Oshkosh selling these tours. They state you do
have to plan farther in advance as it takes longer to push your
paperwork through than it used to.

"Global warming"?

Would you care to tell us more? I thought the scientific community is
concerned about changes the order of a degree or two C over the next
100 years -- not nearly enough to cause a person to change their
wardrobe in the next decade or two.

topozone.com will do an address search to get you in the general area.
However, they then want to sell you a "Map Pack." If you already know the
general area, you can just their topo maps. The lat/long for the center of
the map is displayed at the top.

You're such an idiot, Martin, er, sorry, Merry Christmas!

Of course I tell pilots about the page, you moron, er, sorry, Merry
Christmas! Everyone here knows that the bandwidth for the videos is
provided, free of charge, by this group's own Jav Henderson, and I
simply provide the springboard for it.

Airmen on this group deserve to know that they don't have to subject
themselves to incessant ads (as in YouTube, and many others) in order
to view excellent aviation videos. It's a service that -- because we
DON'T advertise it -- needs to be announced here once in a while.

Buy this stock(?). It's the (big) new "lifestyle" drug of the 21st Century.
