It started life as a Barnes Wallis concept (very) late in his career.
I have a pic in a book, somewhere, of Wallis standing next to a model of
the beast.

I don't think it was ever a serious proposal for either a bomber or
transport version.

Read the fine print- the lower passenger "variant" has nothing to do
with the V-Bomber NG (Next Generation) concept- especially concerning
WHAT was in the conical tail (HINT).

Nice, Dan- that out of what?... 15 posts on a broad range of aviation
I just posted... that you can only TRY to contribute to one :)

You may have flown, but I am smarter than you concerning overall
aviation knowledge. And please do not try to fuck with me on rare a/c
which is my specialty. Only a fool would.

But then again, you are an old fool :)

Sorry you can't read the tiny writing of the passenger application
(civil) with retractable flight deck not found on the military version
in the photos of the model. Obviously, the bottom drawings show the
latter SST and NOT the former military bomber with the nuke in the
tail.

Geesh...
