Some of the shots of a low-altitude, high-speed pass seem to show shock
waves. (Unfortunately, I can't seem to get a link to the particular
photo of interest, but it's about 2/3 of the way down the page and shows
the aft 1/3 of an F-18.)
Is this entire aircraft above Mach 1.0, or are these shock waves due to
local supersonic flow over the sticky-outy bits?
