A Tale Told By An Idiot

Author: Mike Kanze

Many of the recent posts in these NGs remind me of Shakespeare's line in Macbeth about "a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing" (Act V., Scene 5).

(I am fully aware that some of my posts might also be so categorized. )

Personally, I prefer not to waste electrons by feeding odd behaviors, trolls, and the like.

Cheers!

American Conservative website: “War with Iran Might Be Closer than You
Think.”

“There is considerable speculation,” writes the former CIA officer,
“and buzz in Washington today suggesting that the National Security
Council has agreed in principle to proceed with plans to attack an
Iranian al-Qods [Revolutionary Guards]-run camp that is believed to be
training Iraqi militants. The camp that will be targeted is one of
several located near Tehran.”

Veterans Day / Memorial Day Poem #244

Deployment

an unspoken word,
that is repeated in my head.
My heart aches.
mind wanders.
"what is he doing now?"

training.
I must be strong.
he is.
I smile.
laugh.
No tears for now.
treasure every moment.

every kiss. hug. look. touch.
EVERYTHING.
Trust.
Don't be scared.
