The only Spenser I know of is Edmund Spenser, a poet in the time of
Shakespeare known for writing the "Faerie Queene", an allegory about
the reign of Elizabeth I.

As poets go, he's considered good.

What that team as done, with basically a aeries of one-race
sponsorships, is little short of amazing.

And the Spenser books by Robert B. Parker are very good!
