Hi,
Is there a resident expert on the wing cars, specifically the Superbird? I
recently had a coworker claim that all Superbirds were painted Petty blue.
I know this isn't correct and would like to find a source for a listing of
Superbird factory colors.
Thanks,
Ken

I wouldn't call myself a resident expert, but I did own two
Superbirds. Your co-worker is right if he's talking about the racing
Birds out of the Petty shop, but street Birds came in a variety of
colors. My first one was orange. My second one was Petty Blue. I've
also seen them in white, lime green, a darker blue, red, and yellow.
There are a couple web sites you might be interested in. Try
http://aerowarriors.com and http://wwnboa.org. If you poke around
there, you should find a pretty good bit of information.
