Pig:

I hadn't thought it a conspiracy, but I did think that his behavior was more
in line with his new sponsor. The incident does seem out of character for
Kasey, but with the season he had, I imagine his fuse was pretty short.

It's not gonna work, if that's what's going on.

They need to give him some cosmetic surgery.

I'd say this is the wrong venue. Not enough people
reading the group. :o(

Not that I believe it, but just an off the wall thought.... :)

What if Kasey Kahne's outburst and legal issues are the first step in a very
calculated corporate plan to "Smoke" up his image a bit to make it a more
"correct" Budweiser image? Turn him into a "good ol' beer-drinkin' boy"
instead of "gee, you sure know your northern bordeaux, Kasey Kahne"?

Bwah-hah-hah....

  Busch/Hornish point swap

Author: bob.paxton

It's a bit slow in here, so let's toss this out.

What does everyone think of Penske swapping the points from the 2 team
to the 77? You clearly can't blame Penske for wanting to secure
guaranteed starting spots for Hornish and the risk to the 2 team is
minimal since Busch has the champ's provisional.

Still, something just doesn't smell right.

NA$CAr really didn't have much choice but to approve the switch. Had
they denied it, it would have been a fairly simple matter to put
Hornish in the 2 and Busch in the 77 for the first five races next
year.

When it first came out, I kinda liked the idea of locking in the top
35, but I'm not so sure now. There are clearly unintended
consequences. Remember that Bobby Labonte and Kyle Petty were talking
about switching cars if the 45 fell out of the top 35.

The more I think about it, the more I like just running the fastest 43
cars every week with the provision that you get a second shot in the
backup car if you wreck or suffer a mechanical failure on your first
run.
