Throw away the rule book on the cars, apart from a few and that sets the
overall dimensions of he car and safety, this would enable a variety of
engine types and fuels to be used. Its the stringent limitations currently
in place that has made the sport so boring, and limits innovation. Cost
should not be the governing factor for justifying such stringent rules. Yes
the richest teams will have the fastest car as they always have but atleast
clever innovations would give poorer teams a chance to use off the way
ideas.
