Sterling Marlin ponder F1 "team coach" offer

Author: The Czar
Date: Jul 1, 2008 13:14

International motorsport legend and 2-time Daytona 500 winner
Sterling
Marlin has been offered a position with a F1 team as a "team coach".
Sources say that Marlin is mulling the offer. The concept of a "team
coach" has been bounced around the Formula 1 paddocks for several
years now but drivers have been hesitant to agree with the idea. One
unidentified F1 official was quoted as saying "With Marlins vast
background it makes no sense to have him sitting at home each
weekend.
These F1 teams really need to take a long look at what Sterling can
bring to the table."
