  Formula One seems troubled

Author: RickyBobby

Lots of different things going on this season and none of them are good.
Half of the races are run on rubbish courses and half of the teams are in
disarray. These cannot be good developments.

  OT: Super League Formula

Author: Wayne Stuart

Was at Donington Park today for the BTCC, and I see there's another new
single seater formula in the wings.

Super League Formula, intending to be somehow a bridge between
motorsport and football.

Anyway, thought I'd comment cos I wondered if anyone has any insight
about the chassis. Very nice looking, made by Panoz apparently, called
the DP09. Wondered if it was a modified Panoz DP01 Champcar chassis
that they've now got a few of lying around without a series to race them
in.

Oh, and it sounds glorious! Menard 4.2 litre V12 pushing out about
750bhp. Nice!

Here, read:

Their trucks have been denied access to the paddock at Istanbul as Nick
Fry of Honda said they wouldn't be racing!

It was good to see Melandri put together a good run on the Ducati finally
too.

Was almost a weird atmosphere with all those huge totally empty stands
around the track.
