For a few years, I have heard that there is at *least* one race still
carried out on this (road/racetrack whichever you like), but have never
found any actual mention of it aside from things like Hobbes mentioning
it during the German/European GP. Can someone help me either way?

Hello,
I am looking for a web site where I can pay either a montly or per race fee to
download F1 coverage, preferably ITV or similar in 720p or other HD. BTW, I live in
the US so TV coverage is of course abysmal, with no HD Formula1 coverage available
at all.
I would feel better paying than downloading but I just can't seem to find any legal
options.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jack

Kerr beating Formula One drivers
Friday, May 09, 2008
A1 Team Great Britain's Robbie Kerr leads a prestigious British racing
driver award league table, ahead of several Formula One stars.
After Kerr's performance for A1 Team Great Britain last weekend at Brands
Hatch, the 28-year-old now leads the British Racing Drivers' Club (BRDC)
Gold Star rankings, moving ahead of people like Formula One's Lewis
Hamilton.
The BRDC Gold Star was first presented in 1929 and is awarded annually in
December to the BRDC driver that has done best in international motorsport
over the year.
After Robbie's home Sprint race win and second-place in the Feature race at
Brands Hatch last Sunday, he helped secure a third place finish in the
standings for A1 Team GBR.
The results mean that Kerr moves to the top of the BRDC Gold Star rankings
with 58 points, followed by Lewis Hamilton with 52. World Touring Car
Championship driver James Thompson is currently in third place with 45,
while F1 drivers Mark Webber and Jenson Button are also in contention.

I guess when a Brit driving a McLaren is running on fumes instead of a
Greasy Spic, it doesn't matter.
Eh, Dave?

If any of you remember Matt Pope, aka Ron Burgundy, he and his Lady
just had a beautiful baby girl, which leaves no doubt that she got all
her looks from her Mum.
Olympya Skye, at 4.45Kgs and 56cm length.
Matt didn't mention if this was in adherence to current bub
regulations, but i'll overlook that for now as long as he buys the
beers next time he is in town.

No. Renault will not give it to him. They were lucky 2 times and that is
all. The only chance for Alonso is Ferrari. Raikkonen was speaking about
retirement after 2009. If Fernando would be able to secure that spot he
would be able to even beat Schumacher in number of WDCs.

Ferrari is accussing Massa of allowing Hamilton to overtake him to
damage Raijkkonen's chances to finish second in Turkey. Wow, it's
getting bitchy in Ferrari. If they don't watch out they might go the
McLaren way in 2008 and throw it all away in the second half of the
season.

These last couple of years have made Alonso a much better pilot that
he was when he won the WDC twice in a row. People are criticizing the
fact that he looks too relax and maybe resigned to a slow death in
Renault. Nothing further from the truth.
All the all time greats (Schumi, Fangio, Prost, Senna) had gap years
in between their WDC's. Schumacher won 2 WDC's with Benetton and then
it took him FOUR YEARS IN FERRARI to win the next one. Talk about a
huge gap in betweeen WDC's. Prost took a 2 year gap between his WDC's
twice in his career. Not even Fangio managed vto win all of his WDC's
in a row at a time when competition was pretty limited.
As soon as Alonso gets a half decent car he is going to be extremely
tough to beat because I don't see greatness in his main competitors.
If Renault manages to give him a winner in 2009, I predict that Alonso
will go on a Schumacher style WDC winning binge that will last several
years and place him amongst the all time greats of Formula One.
