  Imprint in Plastic Window

Author: Steve Lapp
Date: Jul 19, 2008 10:20

I have a window protector for my '97 Miata and it has worked well. Last
week, I let a friend borrow the car and when he put the top down, he put
the window ON the protector instead of IN the protector. My window now
has four vertical imprints from the leather cover. I've tried Blue Magic
scratch remover and polisher, which I've used on the window with good
success, a hair dryer to heat the window where the imprints are to rub
them out, and letting the car sit in the sun with the window in the
protector with books on top to try to iron the imprints out. While the
last option, seemed to dull the imprints a little, they are still there.
Does anyone have any other ideas on what to try here? Thanks in advance
for any help.

My older brother called me two nights ago and told me about this.
Apparently that poor Miata belonged to his neighbor, who sold it about
6 months ago to his brother-in-law and wife. What the photos don't
really show is the damage to the fence around the pool.

Putting it in gear might have helped, along with turning the wheels
before shutting it off.

OTOH, it does show how clean she keeps her car. If my Miata went into a
pool right now, the water would not remain that clear. ;-)

Where is fuse block in 2003?

Author: Grant Edwards
Date: Jul 7, 2008 10:22

According to the repair manual, it should be under the dash on
the left side, but I sure can't see anything that looks like a
fuse block. Can anybody confirm the location of the fuse block
in a 2003?
