I think you'll find that most full service gas attendants have no
problem popping your "locked" gas cap off without the key!

Locking Gas Cap - no key

So I had spare keys made for my Jeep but never thought to get one made for
the gas cap. Long and depressing story cut short, my keys are sitting at the
bottom of an elevator shaft and can't be reached until around Aug 5-6. My
Jeep is sitting at a 1/4 tank - in other words, I have about 20km of driving
left ;p

Anywho, any way of filling the tank up? I see screws around the cap and
around the door - can the whole piece just be removed in any way? Can I fill
it by detaching a fuel line hose?

Argh!

An important issue to consider is projection. EVERYONE who has one of these
deals will tell you that you have it too. Just talking to a crazy person
can make you crazy too. That's why psychiatrists have to go to school
longer than just about anybody.

Maybe this will help, but I doubt it.

I have immunity. That is why I can read this stuff without harm. I do not
recommend that others attempt it.

Saludos cordiales,

Earle

Wow...been a long time since I've looked at this group, nevermind
posting....

Was just wondering if anyone was using a PC to do their OBD2 scanning/
etc..

I was looking at the ScanTool.net ELMScan5 and was wondering if anyone
has experience with these types of things...

Cheers

  OT. trailer lights

Author: Greg

Not even a bit jeep related, but I may pull it with my jeep at some point,
so close. I bought a Jayco tent trailer, new about a month ago, pulling with
06 F150, factory wiring. All lights work, but when I turn on headlights, one
trailer light gets double bright like brake is on. ???

  oil overfilled??

Author: FrankW

Hello Group
I always seem to have dificulty with Dealerships when it comes
to oil changes.

On the oil dip stick it clearly says "Do not overfill"
Yet they (dealership) overfilled it by about 1/2 inch.
(The engine has been sitting, not running at least 4 hours)
What are your thoughts on this? Can it hurt the engine?
I'm looking on other's insight about this
Cheers

can someone with an 88 4.2 please look at their starter relay next to
the battery. I have a connecter missing a wire. Its at the 11 oclock
position and points outwards a little bit. It is on the post part of
the relay and is on the top of the rest of the circle connecters that
are on the post. I do not get any noises or anything when i turn the
key. Can someone please tell me what this connecter should be going
to.

96 Cherokee Front Wiper Spray Jets Missing

Bought truck used and notice under the cowl the "jets" in the cowl are
missing and the two hoses (each end of the "T") are sitting under the
cowl. Do I need the parts from the dealer, junkyard or a PepBoys fix-
it isle ?
