	<title><![CDATA[Honda's new oil change interval]]></title>

	<description><![CDATA[Not sure if anyone has posted this but I just wanted to make the group<br>aware that with the new MM system, if you take your car to the dealer,<br>the dealer is not obligated to replace the filter on the A1 changes,<br>just the B1 changes. It's part of Honda's ecco-friendly image.<br><br>I can't think that going 15k miles without changing the oil filter can<br>be good for the engine. While I do my own oil changes I thought I<br>would mention it to the group and find out from your repair shop the<br>next time you get it done.<br><br>

	<description><![CDATA[I have rebuilt my honda v4 automatic transmission but reverse<br>sometimes goes, and sometimes doesn't.  I brought the car back to the<br>transmission place and they re-opened and check it again.  They gave<br>it back, and just found out the problem continues again.  Is this a<br>problem they didn't solve?  Or is it something that goes beyond the<br>transmission rebuilding service?<br><br>Salvador A<br>

Any insights would be welcome... <br>> <br>> <br><br>1. vtec is nothing to do with the transmission<br>2. find someone competent to do the diagnosis - that "transmission shop" <br>clearly isn't.<br>3. i believe this vehicle is part of the great honda transmission <br>recall.  take it to the dealer after you've googled this group for all <br>the other stories - and solutions.<br>
