We've disagreed on a lot, but ICAM with you on this.
It just FEELS like the end.
I remember when, if I had to decide between watching AMC and watching
Y&R, it was a difficult choice. I always preferred Y&R because it was
less campy, more serious drama, and I could relate to more characters
... but AMC *was* good, "brighter" (my ex- always commented about how
"dark" Y&R was to look at), had more outdoor scenes, was more "fun",
they had HUMOR, and they had David Canary -- his portrayal of Adam *and*
Stuart, and of Stuart pretending to be Adam was a huge treat, IMO! There
were some "can't miss" periods of AMC.
But AMC is now almost completely unrecognizable to me. I recognize Adam,
Erica, Tad and Jackson ... but even after a few episodes, I don't have a
clue what's going on or how the current people are now related, other
than that Adam has been seeing Dixie and everyone thinks he's nuts.
Y&R isn't unrecognizable yet, but it's heading that direction.
