Y&R All We're Missing Is Him Twirling His Handlebar Moustache

Author: Terry Pulliam Burd
Date: Mar 9, 2008 21:02

(Header is in reference to silent movies' bad guys twirling their
handlebar moustaches...and I guess if I have to explain it, it isn't
as amusing as I thought it was.)

Victor, Jr. a/k/a "Adam" is either rude and socially inept or a
conniving sleaze. He's really working a "country bumpkin, geez, I
didn't mean to insult" act, but the actor is doing a great job of
projecting...

Just caught it once....ESPN Sports campy promo done in soap style for
Fantasy Baseball leagues (never mind what it is...)

They cut back and forth between specific characters...I could sware the kid
in the hospital bed
used to be on Y and R...and the guy that walks in afterward with the patch
on his eye is the actor who portrayed Edmund on GL.

Honest..I've only had one beer.

Obama wins black, affluent white communities; pattern repeats
statewide

By David Knox
Beacon Journal staff writer

Published on Sunday, Mar 09, 2008

Hillary Rodham Clinton rightly credits Ohio with rejuvenating her
presidential campaign.

''You know what they say: As Ohio goes, so goes the nation,'' Clinton
told the cheering crowd of supporters in Columbus celebrating her
primary victory Tuesday night. ''Well, this nation's coming back and
so is this campaign.''

Why she won is a more complex question. The answer most often heard is
that her campaign's emphasis on the economy resonated deeply in a
