Lorien and the semantics of Tick Tock

Author: Captain Infinity
Date: Sep 19, 2008 14:43

Why would Lorien use the metaphor of "between Tick and Tock" to describe
the limbo state that Sheridan was in after his dive to the center of
Z'ha'dum? Wouldn't the Old Ones have their own words for the sounds made
by a ticking clock? Heck, even here on Earth every language has it's own
representative onomatopoeia for such a thing.

Come to think of it, would the Old Ones even *have* ticking clocks? I
mean, they've certainly been around long enough to develop digital watches.

Attn. JMS: CRUSADE and THE TELEPATH CRISIS

Author: Mac Breck
Date: Sep 16, 2008 10:02

I have to ask this question of JMS, and didn't want to do it via email
because he'd probably prefer it here over the email method. Sorry about
the audacity, impertinence, brusqueness, etc. of asking this here, but
I'm really *FRUSTRATED* (in letters 40 ft. tall) when it comes to the
biggest hanging threads of the Babylon 5 universe, CRUSADE and THE
TELEPATH CRISIS. ARGH!!!!!!

*What is it going to take* to get you writing for Captain Gideon, Galen,
Max Eilerson, Lt. Matheson, Dureena Nafeel, etc. again? ...and *please*
don't say "Someone to come to me and commission me to do it." I'm after
a little bit more in depth and meaningful answer than that, not that I
"expect" one, of course, because I expect absolutely nothing. I'm
trying to solve a problem, not experience a restatement of a dead end.

  the history of the Kha'Ri

How accurate - how canon - is the account of the Kha'Ri given at
<http://www.frostjedi.com/vex/html/narn.html>?

I've seen all the episodes and read all the short stories, but haven't
read all the comics or books (not that all the books are canon
[atleast according to wikipedia]), so I can only conclude that this
account was given in one of them.

why didn't G'Kar declare a Shon'Kar against the emperor of the Centauri?

Author: yawnmoth

Prior to the Emperor Turhan's heart attack, G'Kar was so adamantly
resolved to killing him that it kinda makes me wonder why G'Kar didn't
declare a Shon'Kar against him?

When the rumors started about JMS doing a movie on something called
Lensmen, I ran out and bought the book series and read them back-to-
back. Now that I have a few months of the stories behind me, I am...
