"Stilted" he borrowed from an aapc poster this week: the jury is out
on what Will thinks it means. "Wordy", in Duckrish, means "containing
words", which is of course a good (Duckrish) reason to disqualify a
poem. "Boringly obscure" means "and worse, some of the words are not
in my dictionary!" Finally,. "halfway understand" means he just
figured out, at this point, that some of the words rhymed.

Two pieces of wood nailed together in a cross, plus a few strings, and
- high on a hill lived a Lonely Duck-turd.

Not the poem on the blog I linked to, the ''Marriage Proposal'' poem:

http://www.vishvantara.com/?p=42

That the quote refers to - ''...Gerard Ian Lewis, the pompous, formerly
anonymous defender of racists and homophobes... not to mention the writer of
some of the most wordy, unreadable crap I've ever seen...''

But about another poem, /The Plagiarist/ -

wordy,

That's a fair comment. It's the reason why I still expect to have to
slog at this for another four to five years before I start getting the
kind of results I want. That's normal, even optimistic. Most good
poets take decades to get their shit together.

If you found my stuff entertaining I'd know I was doing something
wrong.

The only entertainment I've seen you provide on these groups is basic
slapstick, which you could find in any circus. Clown falls over; clown
hits himself with floppy stick; clown gets cold water poured down
trousers, etc.

Be patient Billy - he's not as old, or as drunk, or as silly, or as out
of tune, or as uncoordinated as you. It will take him a while to master
slapstick so he HAS to settle for writing poetry. Just thank your lucky
(all-) stars that you being ridiculous means that you can entertain with
unspeakable shit without any hint of literacy.
