I really don't care anymore.
The house that was promised is gone.
The Woman is half-assed there.

I really don't care about my problems
anymore, cause it's there's first.

I can always become their night on the
town and be charged for drinks, and
they can always say I meant to but didn't.

I really don't care anymore.
It will now just be a smile and thank-
you.

It will be that drive home where I'm
told my flaws.

in the sky there shines the sun, Within the sun a bird of gold. Within
the bird there beats a heart, And from the heart there flows a song,
And in the song there sings a word. In the word there speaks a world,
A word of joy, a world of grief, From joy and grief there springs my
love. Oh love, my love, there springs a world, And on the world there
shines a sun, And in the sun there burns a fire. Within the fire
consumes my heart, And in my heart there beats...

she is a wife ranting
in air gelatinous
with the colors of anger

the rails are ready the train
puffs perfume pastel wheels
inch toward the next mood

but i left my stern
in my other self

today i am cactus

they live in separate houses
have parthogenic offspring
they follow personal philosophies
to a scattering of anonymous graves

they become the beets
we hate in grandma's soup

yet they taste like sex

plastic vulva
strung like bait
in the pool of prospective deaths

slightly right of center
the color of dragons just before they explode

i try not to notice it
like age or solitude or destitution
but it reminds me of something
beyond the human call it a soul

beyond the computer screen
into the pin cushion of purgatory

where down time becomes
husks of manhood
imperiable as tears
