How to silence Geese?

OK. I know I'm asking for it, so let it fly.
Besides:
Try a shotgun
ring their necks
Feed them mentos and pepsi

Does anyone have any serious ideas how to shoot next to a pond full of
geese and keep the little bastards quiet?

PS: We can't have them moved to someplace else for the day either.

Get a (trained) golden retriever to scare them off...

Borrow a tame eagle from somewhere, & do a bit of flight training until
they shut up or go away?

Unless they're tame geese, of course.

Have a PA with a large bag of popcorn lure them far away from where
you're shooting. Seriously, geese/ducks don't make noise when they're
eating.

To work within your constraints, there are only 2 solutions.
1. Choose another location
2. Record as best you can and do ADR or repeat the takes enough so you can
cut around the honks.

OTOH, it's not a sound problem, it's a location problem. Whoever
choose that location should be responsible for making it work.

| What kind of answer would expect. Do you think there is some type of
Goose
| Hypnotist who can put them in a silent trance?
|
| By the way you will have the same problem if you shoot next to the Dog
Pound
| or at the end of the runway at LAX.

There are geese next to the dog pound and at LAX? ;-)
