If so e-mail me at ravishingruwooba@ yahoo.com
I live in ole'-ole-o-LA (...that's loony for "Los Angeles").
Thanks.

Hey Everyone,
I may be working on a show kind of like Inside the Actors Studio. I
wanted to lav up the talent and guest with Sanken COS-11's.
Unfortunately, we will also have a live band with a PA for the
audience in the same room. I will probably need to run the lavs
through the PA in order for the audience to hear them as well. What
can I do? When I am watching Inside the Actors Studio, it looks like
they are wearing regular omni lavs, and it seems they would have to
have a small PA for the audience, or am I wrong? Does anyone know how
they mike this? It will only be an audience of 30 people or so, is a
PA overkill? Also, should I go with cardioid lavs or omni's? If
cardioid, any suggestions?
I plan on iso tracking all dialog (host, guest, and 2 floating
wireless audience hand mics) on a Deva 5.8 and will have a separate
ProTools technician recording the band's tracks. The PA guy would be
additional to handle the room acoustics and so forth with the band,
lavs, etc. Is this overkill?
This is a fairly big project and a little intimidating to me. So, any
advice is appreciated.

Hello,
Does anyone have experience with the phase right antenna that Comtek
puts out? Can you compare it to the regular little stubby BNC
antenna?
I am also wondering from your experience how the BST-25 transmitter
compares to the regular little 9V powered transmitters. Audio
quality, etc.
Thanks,
Matt Hamilton

Got a last minute request for exterior ambience stereo recording,
probably directly into my Edirol R-09, but maybe first routed thru my
mixer.
I leave for a very distant, very cold location in about a week, not
enough time to personally test options. It's a three person doc crew.
Looking for something $500 or less, must be field worthy, with real
wind protection, optional battery power, low self noise floor (most
important), small form factor. As a last resort I'll use the built-in
mikes on the R-09, for which I've mcgyvered some wind protection.
Any user reviews of the following?
Sony MS908C
Audio Technica Pro 24
Edirol CS-15
Audio Technica AT825
Rode Stereo VideoMic
Rode NT-4
Or any other suggestions? Or am I crazy?
Thanks!
