Anyone had experience (good or bad) using pre 205 series UHF lectros
as bag to camera links?
I realize there will be no IFB, so camera op will need to monitor the
signal.
I have used a 210 as a mono mix jump, and found quality fine for eng
use..
Oh.. my application is ENG and corporate
I am trying to find a way my clients will be willing to afford that is
better than a pair of Sennheiser g2's (I find the signal quality to be
too low grade with those).
I know.. the right way is with a Zaxcom ENG link.. can't swing it yet,
nor can I get enough rent from current clients to justify it.

But... I still want a better than Senn Evo quality way to get an
unmixed 2 channels to the camera by wireless. As I have a boom and a
board feed to send as separate elements.

Trew Audio just sent me a pair of Invision shock mounts. They are European
thread (3/8", 16 thread, IIRC).

I can find no choice of 5/8" vs 3/8" mount selections on the Rycote site.
Do they not sell a 5/8 27 thread version?

Anyone know where I can find adapters for a 3/8" mount to a 5/8" stand (I
have pocketfulls the other way 'round) in Atlanta on short notice?

I am trying to split the tapeout of my 302 to-

-1 stereo output to feed a backup recorder and

-1 mono output to feed a Sennheiser G2 (used as an IFB feed)

When I mono one of the leads, (using an adapter or direct wiring) it
mono's both leads.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this?

Considering buying Tascam HD-P2, Mipro ACT-707TM Transmitter and MIPRO
MR-90 ENG Receiver. I have experience with Mipros, and they work OK,
but does anyone compared them with other brands in the same price
range (Senn G2 100 eng). Also I would like to here from you any
experience with Tascam HD-P2, or any advice for bying something else.
