I have not heard this mixer, but I have held it in my hand. The build
quality seems VERY good. Those meters are EU PPM and fairly common (I
believe that you could spec SQN mixers with that style meter). I though
that it might be nice as an insert cart mixer (sometimes I actually "mix"
mics in an insert car and it's hard to do so on rotary faders) but I think
that "bang for buck" must still go to the 442.

Noah, the "dontwritemehereok" bounced. The reason I think it's worth a
listen is the overhead is one of the best I've ever heard. Really quite
extraordinary. And the spectrum analysis of the sample indicates energy out
to the Nyquist frequency of the sample rate, 88.2/24.
When something is bad, a comparison is essential. When something is really
good, it may have information by itself.
Rather than expose an email address, I suggest you leave it on my answering
machine.

One day, I think Rob will make a fine director. He doesn't want opinions, he
wants answers. And better make it snappy. Or else..
For now, a big ol' attenuator would be something for under his
Christmastree.

Hi all,
This is an interesting Hungarian-made mixer:

I've seen their rotary fader model before, but the mini slide fader
model looks intriguing. It has 4 direct outs on XLR.
How do they sound? I see that Coffey Sound is selling them.
Thanks all!
Regards,
Dave

Easy. You put the soundcart on top of the bike! A mini-Cooper, a 744T; you
be all set to "go mobile."

Yo Rob,
Here's another rather simple question: Can you please chill out and stop
shouting? And take it easy on the exclamationmarks, will you. Just one will
make your point, that it's like, really important. You'll run out of 'em
soon....
