Hi all,

Ran across this link that I hope is a helpful reference for
Single-System & Double-System Sound Recording Techniques with the Sony
24p HDW-F900 CineAlta, and the Panasonic Varicam AJ-HDC27V/V-M1/F
Camcorders.

  Advice needed for scene

Will be shot in a music store. A lot of the dialogue and discussion
will pertain to what they hear inside being played also certain cues
take place when a particular lyric or passage is heard.

For pacing, should I playback music softly just as a guide track.

TIA

How are transcripts recorded these days?

How are transcripts recorded these days? I've been out of the sound
game for a couple of years, but I have to jump back in and I've just
noticed that my trusty Wmd-5 Sony portable cassette deck no longer
works. I know these are no longer made, so I guess my question is;
what do people record transcripts on now? Do the transcript houses
still only take cassettes? Or is there some kind of mp3 option? If
they still only take cassette tapes, what model of tiny recorder takes
a line level in these days.

  zaxcom and 302

Hi
I have a 302 mixer that i use with a zaxcom eng camera link it works
great with ph powered mic but as soon as I switch to dynamic input I
get interferance from the zaxcom. The only way I am able to fix the
problem is to run the zaxcom tx on a long cable to my back pocket. This
is not great for quickly putting gear down. I am sending from the mini
3 pin xlr output. Any clever ideas?
