  Austin Independent Winterguard: Moses Ramos joins ATX design staff

Moses Ramos-- 2007 Colorguard Caption Head for Revolution Drum and
Bugle Corps will be joining our instructional staff!

Meet Moses, additional staff, and others interested in spinning with
Austin Independent Winterguard at our first Spin Camp/Open House!
Cost= $20. You can pay with check or cash at registration.

Registration is from 12 noon to 12:30. The camp will go until 4:30 PM.
There will be introductions, a Q&A session, and then movement and
spinning. Bring friends! :-) All ability levels are welcome!

This will be held in the band room at ELGIN HIGH SCHOOL in ELGIN, TX
(about 20 miles east of Austin).

This IS NOT an audition! It's just a chance to come check out ATX,
meet some new people, and spin for fun, while hopefully learning a
couple of things!

Dress comfortably for movement and for spinning. If you are interested
in spinning rifle or sabre, please bring your own weapon if you have
one. We have a few, but limited numbers available. Plenty of flags
will be available, but you can bring your own if you feel more
comfortable with it.

The Sterling High School Marching Band is searching for the following
positions for the 2008 marching band season:

1. Percussion Caption Head - No writing necessary
2. Battery Tech
3. Pit Tech

1 must have a minimum of 60 college credits and are BOE paid contracts. 2 &
3 are volunteer positions, paid by the Band Boosters and determined by
experience and commitment.

All must be available for most summer and fall weekday rehearsals
(Tues/Thurs) including and camp on August 22nd - 26th, 2008. Rehearsals are
Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-9 pm. The school is located in
Somerdale, NJ (South) in Camden County.

Previous experience for all positions is recommended, WGI/DCI experience a
plus!

The Rancocas Valley Regional High School Red Devil Marching Band of
Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a Brass Instructor for the upcoming
marching band season. The qualified applicant will in charge of
implementing the technique program and overseeing individual &
ensemble performance quality. In addition, he/she would assist with
the marching & drill responsibilities.

The RVMB is a Group IV Open band that competes in the USSBA circuit.
We are located just a few miles from Exit 5 of the NJ Turnpike and
exits 45 & 47 of I-295.

  New Independent Guard in Austin, TX area

Seeking interested parties in the Austin, TX area!

A competitive winter guard family is forming in the Austin, TX area.
At this time, membership is open to ALL AGES. The only limit is that
if you are in high school, your school does not currently have a
competitive winter guard program!

Classification will rely on the average ages and ability levels of all
interested members.

Plans are to compete in the TCGC and TECA circuits in 2009, expanding
to compete in WGI in the near future.
