The bible is fiction. *

And that means that life expectancies as an aggregate haven't risen?

The backup plan is "new antibiotics", the same as has been happening since
penicillin was invented.

A number of people said this, and it's not the case. New brain cells are
produced for some time after birth, and then it stops. So clearly the brain
CAN still function with new brain cells added to the mix.

The Next Doctor - NO SPOILERS

Author: tedkord

PROS:
Best Christmas special yet - no killer trees or Santas
The Next Doctor angle was actually guite nicely done. Glad it wasn't
obvious.
The acting wasn't as overdone as in the past, with the exception of
Morrissey - which was probably intentional. Anyway, once his storyline
reached it's conclusion, he toned it down and was very good.
Loved seeing the past regenerations! I like continuity.

CONS:
The Cyberman Story was sort of silly, and the ending of it was just
ridiculous.
The cybershades weren't really explained satisfactorilly.
The next doctor's companion was annoying.
I had to watch it with my 6 year old boy running around the room
playing with his new presents making all kinds of noise - can I blame
RTD for that?

So is there going to be a third Sally Lockhart story staring Billie Piper or
isn't there? I've not seen it advertised on the BBC.

Christmas Invasion : 9.8 million
Runaway Bride : 9.2 million
Voyage of the Damned : 13.3 million
Next Doctor : 11.7 million (overnight)

Could end up with a new record?

Thanks, and best wishes to Shannon.
