GUARDIAN SENTAI ROBOMAN #10
"Science Island Revolt"
Component 04.1
March 1st, 2010
by Adrian J. Watts
New Orleans
Sei and Senshi appeared on the moist bank of New Orleans' massive Lake
Pontchartrain at the same time - and neither man needed time to gather
his senses before turning to the other with an angry expression etched
firmly on his face.
Sei was frustrated; the blue raido shard he had been given by Dr.
Brachis just before fleeing Science Island contained barely enough
power to secure his own teleportation - Senshi hanging on had almost
completely exhausted it, and he doubted whether he had even enough
left to return to Science Island to collect more.

Some months ago, we here at Eightfold proudly announced our five-part
super-saga, "The Sensational Character-Find of 2007!" As I'm sure all
Eightfold Eighfficiandos are already aware, the first four parts of
this titanic tale have already hit your neighborhood newsgroup in JOLT
CITY # 12-15, released with relish on a monthly basis!
Next month will see the 16th issue of Jolt City, and the story's fifth
part... and thus the conclusion, right?
Wrong!
For we have discovered that this story is too powerful for a single
installment to contain its cataclysmic conclusion! Exposure could
potentially be hazardous to your health!
And so, we have decided to extend the story by one additional
installmen
-- six sensational segments-- thus sparing you from any
harm that could befall those beholding such unbridled awesomeness!
Because...
... that's the kind of guys we are!

Just so you know we're still working on Beige Midnight... it is coming
out... I swear!
As to why it's taking so long... here's a possible answer....
**** <<--BM-->> ****
"Brought you some lunch, Procrastination Boy." Procrastination Boy
looked behind him and saw an ambiguous blur holding a paper sack. It
was Fuzzy, one of his LNH teammates, who has the power to make things
ambiguous.
"Hey, thanks! Just put it over there, Fuzzy. I'll eat it a little bit
later. You didn't have to do this."

"Keeping Secrets"

Elsewhere
Sei was confused. A moment ago, he had been standing in New Orleans,
confronting Sorceress Miko as she and two of her 'pixie' minions
attempted to rob a bank. He had hoped to corner and capture her and
make her lead him to his mentor, Doctor Nagura, who she held captive.
She managed to teleport away. Sei followed... and appeared on Science
Island. Miko was nowhere to be seen - in fact, the corridor in which
Sei materialised was completely deserted - but he saw no indication
that she made a second teleportation 'jump'. She was still on the
island; he was sure of it.

Elsewhere
Jinsei pushed open the heavy metal door to the dark cell in which he
held Nagura Scott, the former base administrator of Blizzard Base
Zero, captive. The cell was dark; its stone walls contained no windows
or other openings, and there was no source of artificial light.
Attached to one wall of the chamber was a metal bar, to which Dr.
Nagura was handcuffed.
The doctor struggled against his bonds, but despite his best efforts
to wrench the bar free from the wall, he succeeded only in sending a
loud clanging sound echoing around the room.
"Stop that, Nagura," Jinsei said. "You'll do yourself an injury."

Pfff. There have been more than enough incidental hints (albeit
spread out over a long period of time) that I would be honestly
surprised if those two *didn't* become romantically involved.
Frankly I'm more interested in what happens when Aaron tries to
use (drops voice ominously) That Chair.

Is there an LNH character named "Wikiac"? The idea being he's a living
wiki, a spoof on Brainiac 5, someone who thinks he knows everything, but
often can't answer/decide because that topic is locked for dispute. If
there's not a character like that, would it be possible for an
LNH-proto-neophyte to reserve the name?
