Superfreaks Season 3 #'s 11-12 had the detectives investigating the
case of a murderer who picked his victims according to who posted
inflamatory remarks and/or spam on usenet message boards. The
detectives lured in the killer by posting their own inflamatory
remarks and spam on message boards and waited for him to show up. The
killer fought back and was fatally shot.
A month ago, CSI New York had the detectives investigating the case of
a contract killer who picked her clients online according to who sent
out inflamatory remarks. The detectives lured the killer by sending
out their own inflamatory messages and waited for her to contact
them. They arranged a time to meet but she got suspicious and ran.
The detectives followed, she fought back and she was fatally shot.
Superfreaks Season 3 #12 was posted on January 9th of this year, That
was during the writer's strike. This CSI New York came out a month
ago. It was part of a new crop of episodes that was written after the
writer's strike. We know for a fact that the script for this episode
had not been written prior to the writer's strike because if it had
been it would have been filmed during the writer's strike and not
after.
There are a few differences. First of all, my killer had mutant
powers and theirs was merely highly skilled. Second, their killer was
contacting her clients online and was making a living this way: she...

Hi! Kid Recap here. Funky numbering aside, this issue is more
or less the middle of the road for the series. So, the New
Misfits and Cannon Fodder asked me to set aside a few minutes
and bring you up to date on the story so far. If you're picking
up the series now, this is the best issue to start with. If
you're pondering whether to pick it up but intimidated by the
number, this one is for you. If you just want to recap and
refresh your memory -- and who doesn't love a recap? -- then by
all means enjoy it. If you did read everything up to now, maybe
more than once, and still have no clue what's going on, well
then, I guess this issue won't help too much, as it's exactly as
badly written as the rest. Sorry!
58.5 is a series of fiction stories in a shared universe called
"LNH", which stands for Legion of Net.Heroes, the premier
super-hero organization of this universe. Obviously, it's a
setting where most stories follow the super-hero genre, or mock
it, or (usually) a combination of the two.

Hmmph. I'm not sure what's going on with the mysterious and arbitrary
double-spacing between paragraphs in the first two scenes of the
story. I think everyone can more-or-less tell what's going on, but
since I use a double-space between scenes to indicate a scene change,
it kind of messes with the format. I've had a number of problems with
my e-mail; Yahoo inexplicably switched me from my old interface and
settings to a new and "improved" interface that more or less ensures
random bits of wackiness in my outgoing e-mail.
Anyway, after this line--
> Â Â "Finito," says Martin. Â "Training stops, you're not my sidekick, and you never will be."
-- everything looks to be spaced and formatted correctly, so I'm not
going to repost the story until I do a collected edition.
==Tom

[gods, I suck, or something. Two months without posting and I
forget how to do it?]
In another plane of existence, a red-haired girl was intently
studying complex diagrams and practicing hand gestures. A
beast, larger and more terrible than most minds can cope with,
approached and looked at her with the pride of a master.
%%YOU HAVEN'T LOOKED AT YOUR HOME WORLD IN A LONG TIME.%%
"What's the point? I have much to do. And since we have
accelerated time here, every time I look it's more or less the
same thing." She didn't even look at him.
%%IT'S NOT THE SAME THING NOW. YOU SHOULD LOOK.%%
She displayed vague interest and looked into the beast's eyes.
What she saw was worry, even fear. Not a sight she was
accustomed to. She dropped the books and quickly cast a viewing
spell she had already mastered long before.
"What's going on?", she asked, studying the carnage around the
LNHQ. "Is it time for me to return already?"
%%THEY COULD SURELY USE YOUR HELP, BUT YOU'RE NOT READY.%%
