I just added Shamir's trick to the LTC library. Gets ~1.34x to ~1.4x
faster signature verifications than before with a simple 16 element
table of points.
Some numbers
---NOW---
ECC-112 verify_hash took 807645 cycles (1.34x faster)
ECC-128 verify_hash took 969613 cycles (1.40x faster)
ECC-160 verify_hash took 1391150 cycles
ECC-192 verify_hash...

Drabble Girl in 52 Drabbles!
Drabble #14: Back To The LNH!
Drabble Girl landed in an undignified heap on the floor of the LNH
laboratory, but quickly jumped to her feet. Doctor Stomper helped her to
remove the bulky space suit, but immediately asked her about her time in
the Wordinator's dimension.
"It intends to expand into our dimension," Drabble Girl replied.
"We know that, we've already had one attack," Doctor Stomper said.
Drabble Girl shook her head. "It said its 'character' was upon our
dimension."
"Which means?"
"Perhaps there is a being here already that is the Wordinator's avatar."

You know, I was in Christchurch a couple of years ago, but I'm pretty
sure I'm not responsible for this. I may have to write the cat into
the series, however...
{actual news item follows}
Hunt on for radioactive cat
Nov 6, 2006
The spectacular explosions of fireworks could be to blame for a cat
going missing and spreading alarm in Christchurch, because this is no
ordinary cat - she's also radioactive.
Nuts is a 13-year-old speyed female feline that is just too hot to
handle - for at least another few days anyway.
It's a case of look but don't touch because Nuts has been implanted
with radioactive iodine to treat an over active thyroid gland.
Nuts was taken to Christchurch's Straven Road vets a week ago for a
hyperthyroid procedure. After the procedure it was put in a garage
where it was to stay for a week under quarantine. But on Saturday night
the door was found ajar and Nuts has been missing ever since.
"She would still be radioactive," says owner Michelle Reeves.

Is it really worth my listing this?
Bush43 #20-61 are it I suppose, including the whole Bush43 Daily thing
I did through June and July. Good luck figuring those puppies out
though.
All of it's available on RACC here or at artificecomics.com.
I guess I'm done shilling myself.
For now.

WARNING FOR NEW READERS:
I have tried in this story to create the most vile,
repulsive villain that I could. As such, the first
half or so of this story is exceedingly ugly. People
who are familiar with my writing know that this is
atypical of me and my work.
Stick with the story to the finish-- it's not
spoiling anything, I think, to say that I firmly
believe in the triumph of good over evil, and
gaudiness, joy, and nostalgia _always_ trumps
ugliness, racism, and war-- at least in the end.

[Technically, War Without Worlds #3 was also posted during the time
period, but I don't really feel like it is a part of it really. But if you
really want to nominate it...]
