Thank your for that wild ride at my age. It is so satisfying to me to watch
others do--what I was most likey manically risk taking enough to have tried
1 million years ago
Not to sound too boring, but I'm more interested in the cracked liberty
bell.
I just watched Open Waters 2---quite chilling as far as stupidity goes, and
we know it goes quite far.
Looking forward to some sushi,k or at the very least something from a
revolution 300 over years ago this holiday season

Have to admit, I never actually knew this cultural reference before,
until reading through Yei Ozaki's collection of "Japanese Fairy Tales":
---
THE STORY OF PRINCE YAMATO TAKE.
The insignia of the great Japanese Empire is composed of three
treasures which have been considered sacred, and guarded with
jealous care from time immemorial. These are the Yatano-no-Kagami or
the Mirror of Yata, the Yasakami-no-Magatama or the Jewel of
Yasakami, and the Murakumo-no-Tsurugi or the Sword of Murakumo.
---
(No mention, however, of whether these three treasures can be combined
to create a Holy Grail to defeat the Messiah of Silence...)
