The following, via plot gawd(s), find themselves in the Bubblegum
Crisis Earth, spicifically Megatokyo.
Each of them are eventually are scouted by Sylia Stingray who asks them

Harrington, RMN, GSN, PMV, etc etc ad nauseum could buy and sell Sylia
Stingray, the Sabers, Genom, and most likely the entire planet with
just pocket change. If they didn't do whatever *she* wanted, when and
exactly how she wanted it, Her Perfectness[1] would probably nuke 'em
from orbit, then send the troops in to sweep up the mess. (can you
picture Sylia Stingray (either one) operating on a leash like that? I
didn't think so)
