New Year's Challenge Easy Challenge Submission: Team KaleidoLight

Team: Sora Nageino, Ken Robbins, Rosetta Passell (Kaleido Star), and
Michael Falkner (me)

It was a beautiful January 1st, and the riots of the night before had
subsided with only about 50 arrests. Standing near Pier 7 on the
Embarcadero, I checked my settings one final time and hit "Send"...

Thirty seconds and a brilliant flash of light later, I was standing
face to face with two Kaleido Stars and their friend/stage manager.

"WHEE!! THAT WAS FUN!! WE GOTTA DO THAT AGAIN!! WE GOTTA! WE
GOTTA!", Sora screamed.

Rosetta just grinned.

"That's certainly a much more fun way to travel.", Ken said more
staidly.

"Hey, guys...", I said. "Welcome to San Francisco, New Year's Con, and
our New Year's Challenge..."

"Challenge?!?!?!???", all three replied, as if stopped on a dime...

In the movie Airheads, a wannabe band called "The Lone Rangers" took
over a radio station after yet another record label gave them the
"thanks, but no thanks" routine. They used the ransom list to set up a
potential insanity defense down the line.
